Dressing of the deceased
We always provide the final dressing of the deceased before viewing in a casket or before burial according to the individual wishes of the customer.
Our workers, as ones of the few in the Czech Republic, are certified to perform “higher hygienic provision of the deceased”. This service includes special cosmetic and physiological treatment, meaning treatment of the body and face of the deceased so it would look as if the deceased was only fast asleep and your last reunion was painful as little as possible.
If the client cannot provide proper clothing for the deceased, our employees will, after an accord with the customer, buy the clothing with no problem whatsoever; alternatively, a shroud will be used.
In the case that the family of the deceased needs to delay the funeral for whatever reason, we are ready to oblige and deposit the deceased to a deepfreeze box until the funeral.
For more demanding clients, we offer specially made caskets with special equipment available. A catalogue of luxury caskets is available at all our offices and our employees would be happy to provide detailed information.
If the client wishes, the deceased can be conserved or even embalmed.
Conservation is a method, which allows the body of the deceased to be transported to countries, where this treatment is mandatory. This method, based on a special mix of chemicals, delays the natural biological processes starting after one’s death.
Embalming is a procedure of treatment of the body of the deceased, which is used in cases when the deceased is exposed in room temperature long after their death. No cooling is necessary. Bodies of the deceased, which underwent this treatment, will not show any posthumous changes.
