Information about widow’s and orphan’s pensions
The applicant applies a claim for pension at the social services office according to the place of their permanent residence.
1.To the application for a widow’s pension, the applicant presents:
- An ID of the bereaved
- A marriage certificate (original)
- A death certificate (original)
- Last pension assessment of the spouse
- Last pension assessment of bereaved widow/er
- Widows/ers of employees apply their claim for pension to the employer of the deceased
2.To the application for an orphan’s pension, the applicant presents:
- An ID of the applicant
- A birth certificate (original)
- A certificate of study or of a studying arrangement of the child
- A death certificate (original)
Change of marital state in the ID
This correction is carried out by the department of personal identification cards at the local authority at the applicant’s place of permanent residence. New ID will be released in a 30-day time period.
To the application for a new ID, the applicant presents:
- Their current ID
- A death certificate
- One photography
